What if you finally reveal who's behind the mask?
You have learned to adapt, and you now master it effortlessly.
You are quieter than you want to be, and you seem tougher than you are.
You smile more kindly than you feel and nod in agreement, even though you would much rather shake your head.
For every role your day demands, there's a corresponding mask. You receive recognition for functioning and pleasing others. But somewhere between the expectations of others, likes, and favors, a part of yourself has been lost.
Therefore: Take off the mask.
Masquerade represents the moment you say goodbye to constantly bending over backwards. The image reminds you how often you've said "yes" even though everything inside you was screaming "no," and how often you've made compromises where you put your own ideas aside.
It is a tribute to you and to your journey back to yourself.
